YKAA 사단법인 청년미술협회
사단법인 청년미술협회는 순수성과 독창성을 지닌 청년미술의 건강한 성장을 도모하고, 청년 예술가들과 시민들에게 올바른 문화적 방향성을 제시함으로써 한국 청년미술의 진흥과 예술적 가치 제고에 기여하고자 2019년 설립되었습니다.
2020년 서울시 인가를 받아 사단법인으로 전환된 이후, 청년 작가들에게 실질적인 지원과 발표의 기회를 제공하고, 서울 시민들에게는 다양한 예술 경험을 선사하기 위한 폭넓은 활동을 이어오고 있습니다.
특히, 전시 기획, 미술 교육 프로그램, 예술 체험 활동 및 대규모 미술 행사 등을 통해 예술의 사회적 역할을 실천하며, 청년미술의 미래를 함께 그려가고 있습니다.
대표 사업인 ‘대한민국 청년미술축제 ARTGROUND’는 2021년부터 매년 개최되며, 청년작가들이 자신의 작품을 대중에 선보이고, 국내외 예술계와 교류할 수 있는 대표적인 플랫폼으로 자리매김하였습니다.
또한 2023년에는 런던 사치 갤러리(Saatchi Gallery)에서 국제 전시 ‘아트그라운드 런던 2023’를 성공적으로 개최하며 한국 청년미술의 글로벌 진출 기반을 마련했습니다.
협회는 앞으로도 예술을 통한 소통과 공감의 가치를 중심으로 청년 예술가들의 성장을 지원하고, 시민과 함께하는 열린 예술 생태계를 만들어가겠습니다.
The Young Korean Artist Association (YKAA) was founded in 2019 with the mission of fostering the healthy development of youth art rooted in purity and originality.
By offering guidance to young artists and the public, YKAA aims to advance the growth of Korean youth art and elevate its artistic and cultural value.
Officially incorporated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in 2020, YKAA has since provided meaningful support and exhibition opportunities for emerging artists, while enriching the cultural experiences of Seoul citizens.
Through curated exhibitions, educational programs, free art activities, and large-scale events, the Association strives to realize the public role of art and shape a thriving future for Korean youth in the arts.
YKAA's flagship event, the Young Korean Artist Festival ARTGROUND, has been held annually since 2021 and has grown into a leading platform where young artists showcase their work and engage with both domestic and international art communities.
In 2023, YKAA successfully hosted ARTGROUND LONDON 2023 at the prestigious Saatchi Gallery, laying the groundwork for the global expansion of Korean youth art.
Moving forward, YKAA is committed to nurturing the next generation of artists and building an inclusive, vibrant cultural ecosystem where art fosters connection, creativity, and community.
